Scope and content

Series consists of photographs of baseball, softball, football, hockey, soccer, volleyball and basketball players as well as related activities. There are also photographs of curlers, wrestlers, golfers, swimmers and of individuals participating in track and field events, water racing and canoe jousting. Included are photographs of individuals receiving awards and of coaches. These records document the importance of sports and recreational activities in the City of Guelph and Wellington County.

Also included in this series are photographs of entertainers and characters who are not part of a music ensemble.
