George Brown College Archives holds the college’s records of permanent value and records that have a finite retention schedule. The archives is also responsible for records of the antecedent organizations that became George Brown College, and serves as the archives for Colleges Ontario. GBC Archives’ holdings total approximately 3,700 linear metres and are stored at both Casa Loma campus and an offsite storage facility. The archives receives approximately 500 requests for information per year from GBC departments and outside researchers, and facilitates research on a wide variety of topics.
