    Scope and content

Fonds consists of a volume documenting bird sightings in and around Toronto. The volume contains 128 printed checklist pages, listing 345 species of Ontario birds. Recorded information includes time of sightings, the people who were involved in the bird watching, location, weather conditions, and date. In addition, the number of birds of each species sighted has been recorded, with a total of the number of species sighted recorded at the bottom right corner of the sheet. Some of the sheets have more detailed notes written on the reverse. Many of the sheets record bird sightings from two or more locations.
