            Fonds is comprised of nine one-inch master video reels of ten documentaries produced by documentary filmmaker Gary Elwood Nichol in the 1980s. Of primarily an Indigenous focus, the films were produced in co-operation with Indigenous communities and cover such themes as healing circles, substance abuse, suicide, the Pope’s original and failed visit to the Dene in 1984, Indigenous artists, etc. Shown primarily on CBC and PBS and in-flight on Air Canada, titles include: Rice Dancer; Life Circles; The Circle Moving; The Only Gift; The Yerxa’s: An Ojibway Heritage; A Gathering in Denendeh; Nature’s Gallery; Jean Luc Grondin; Smiths Falls Carvers; and the National Film Board of Canada’s Trent Severn.

            This series contains records related to the celebration of jubilees of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the diocese of London, in Ontario. The records are from Ontario and Alberta, where the Sisters had a mission since 1922.             Fonds consists of textual records, audio-visual materials and graphic materials relating to the company’s creation of film, video, audio and slide productions. Textual records include year-end financial statements, contracts, releases, scripts, consents, correspondence, proposals, treatments, transcripts, funding applications, promotional materials, awards, production reports and sales reports. Audio-visual materials include masters, submasters, field tapes and elements of productions created for clients by Creative Services and Lockwood Films. Contents include films, videos, audio tapes, CDs and DVDs related to: marketing and promotion of products, services, companies and not-for-profit organizations; internal corporate communications including annual meetings, seminars and internal instruction; training and education; television shows; documentaries; demonstrations for potential clients and stock footage created by Lockwood Films for internal use. Graphic materials include photographs, slides and negatives of Lockwood people and external projects.

            The sous-fonds consists of records kept by Sister Mary Anthony Hartleib, the majority of which are about her artwork. The records include sale agreements, publications, and thank-you letters from groups that received her icons. Also included in the sous-fonds are some of her original artworks as well as photographic reproductions of artworks that may or may not be held in the Archives. The sous-fonds also consists of speeches and presentations written by Sister Mary Anthony, and certificates and records of graduation.

            The sous-fonds reflects Sr. Mary Lillian Kuntz’s time as an educator, judge, administrator, and her Congregational service. The earliest record is a class photograph from St. Angela’s College where she was a student, followed by her high school diploma from Catholic Central High School in 1953. The records have a global geographic spread with the inclusion of colour transparencies of her travels to the United Kingdom, Africa and Europe. The materials focus on her time in Yellowknife, NWT, Uganda, Nelson, B.C., and London, Ont. The sous-fonds includes photographs, sound recordings, moving image recordings, and a diploma.
