        General note

The #103 train was a 0-4-0 Saddle Tank locomotive purchased by Falconbridge in 1935 from the Beauharnois Light, Heat & Power Company. The train was built in 1930 by the Canadian Locomotive Company of Kingston, Ontario. Falconbridge acquired the #102 train a year later. These were two of only three steam locomotives ever operated by Falconbridge at their smelter and yard in the town. In 1950, both the #102 and #103 trains were transferred to Falconbridge subsidiary Poupore Lumber Company at Skead, Ontario.

        General note

n 1948, the #103 train derailed while on a slag dump and rolled into the swamp. For more information regarding this train, contact the Northern Ontario Railroad Museum & Heritage Centre http://normhc.ca/.
