Drayton Pastoral Charge was established in 1925, formerly Methodist: it included Zion Church in Peel Township and Glen Allan. Peel Wesleyan Methodist Circuit was formed ca. 1859 and included Drayton, Goshen, Glen Allan, Hollen, Olivet; it was discontinued in 1874 when the Methodist Church of Canada was formed. Glen Allan Methodist Circuit was formed originally in 1874 as Peel Methodist Circuit and included Olivet, Dorking, Hollen, Goshen; in 1905 it was named Glen Allan, and in 1925 it was discontinued when the United Church was formed. Drayton Methodist Circuit included Zion Church in Peel Township, and was active from at least 1890 to 1925, when the United Church was formed. Glen Allan Presbyteerian Church was active from at least 1868 until 1925, when the United Church was formed.
