These records were scheduled as TW048 Construction Drawings. They were maintained in the Engineering Division of the Transportation and Works Department and then transferred to the City of Thunder Bay records centre for inactive storage as per their retention schedule.
Scope and content
This series includes contract drawings and some textual material relating to the construction of buildings, structures, sewers, roads and watermains.
The records have been organized by project and date and also include some miscellaneous items which have been identified.

Physical condition
The folded drawings included in this series have not been flattened at this time (2010) as there are too many of them to accommodate the map cabinets available. This will have to be done at some point in the future
