L’article est un album de coupures contenant des documents et des rubans d’identification du premier congrès canadien de la télévision (First Canadian Television Clinic), présenté par l’Académie des arts radiophoniques (Academy of Radio Arts). Les documents dans l’album comprennent une brochure du congrès, une lettre d’invitation ouverte, un programme ainsi que des notices biographiques des orateurs. Les trois rubans d’identification ont servi d’insigne pour distinguer les membres du personnel, les délégués et les membres de la presse.

La collection contient 11 volumes reliés du bulletin Bonjour publiés entre janvier 1961 et novembre-décembre 1971.

Le fonds contient des dossiers techniques et opérationnels en lien avec la gestion de la station de réception de Yamachiche, au Québec, de 1913 à 1973, par la compagnie Canadian Marconi et la Société canadienne des télécommunications transmarines (SCTT). On y trouve : de la correspondance (1925-1931); quelques dossiers opérationnels; des dossiers techniques à propos des récepteurs radio sans fil utilisés à la station, ainsi que des bleus et schémas de récepteurs (1934-1952); des manuels et instructions visant les récepteurs fabriqués par la Marconi’s Wireless Telegraph Co., la Canadian Marconi Co., Hasler Ltd., Northern Electric Co., Philips Telecommunications, etc. (1942-1964); des dossiers opérationnels de la SCTT, y compris des notes de service, des procédures et plusieurs types de rapports techniques hebdomadaires et mensuels (1955-1971); une sélection de registres de communications télégraphiques et téléphoniques ainsi que des graphiques de réseaux sans fil vers de grandes villes en Europe, en Asie et en Amérique du Sud (1963-1973); et enfin, des documents commerciaux et des catalogues de produits du groupe Marconi et d’autres fabricants (1927-1963).

Le fonds se compose du curriculum vitæ de Parkhill ainsi que des exemplaires de ses articles et textes de conférence sur l’informatique, le Télidon et le vidéotex, de 1978 à 1985. On y trouve aussi ses dossiers sur l’informatique de l’époque où il était sous-ministre adjoint (recherche), au ministère des Communications du gouvernement du Canada, de 1974 jusqu’à sa retraite, en 1984. Les dossiers comprennent des rapports publiés et non publiés. Le fonds contient également de la correspondance et ses entretiens (enregistrés sur cassettes audio) avec des chefs de file des domaines du vidéotex et du télétexte en Europe, en Amérique du Nord et en Extrême-Orient pour la rédaction de son ouvrage The Beginning of a Beginning. De nombreux documents portent sur l’informatique : correspondance, articles, rapports publiés et non publiés, et études sur le vidéotex, le télétexte et le Télidon (1972 à 1988). Le fonds comprend en outre des dossiers par matières sur l’informatisation et sur les systèmes de communications de bureau, ainsi que quelques photographies de Parkhill à la retraite ou recevant des prix.

The CBC Radio, Sudbury fonds consists of scripts, logs, newscast, and research notes of some of the locally produced programs. The recordings are from Morning North. The fonds contains recorded information from the newscasts, and from Morning North.

Series consists of media coverage of Jean Augustine's professional activities as a member of Parliament, cabinet minister and community advocate, including video recordings of her public appearances, as well as recordings of her appearance on radio and television. Also includes music recordings and documentaries submitted to Augustine by members of the community and some lobby groups.

Fonds consists of personal files containing correspondence, articles, photographs, certificates, etc. relating to Ernest Bartlett's family and career with the Toronto Telegram.

Series consists of photograhs depicting the people and places of early Vaughan as well as the post offices throughout Vaughan Township (Norberta wrote a book Chatting About the Post Offices of Vaughan Township, Ontario, published 1983), Norberta was also a long-time journalist with the Woodbridge and Vaughan News and thus some of the photos she used in her articles can also be found in this series.

Series consists of newspaper clippings regarding the 25th Anniversary of the Port Hope High School building located at 130 Highland Drive. The clippings are from the Port Hope Evening Guide (17 May 1982), and The Independent (19 May 1982).

Series consists of seven (7) colour postcards of various sites in Port Hope, created by World Wide Sales Agencies Ltd., Montreal. It includes: First Baptist Church, Town Hall, Horticultural Society Gardens at Rotary Park, Port Hope & District Hospital, "Idalia" Port Hope Golf Club, Harbour, Port Hope Golf & Country Club.

Series consists of a type-written copy of "Memoirs of My Life" by George Wilson, c1862. It was written in Montreal, and dedicated to Sarah (his wife). The series also includes one edition of the Port Hope Evening Guide (17 Jun 1929), as published by Geo. Wilson.

Series consists of newspaper clippings recounting the stories of Hurricane Hazel (1954) in Port Hope, 1979-1984. The articles were clipped out of the Port Hope Evening Guide by N. Tom Long.

"Dutch" Brown Retirement Program, 14 Jun 1985; "Officers' Mess" The Midland Regiment, 1949; "1939-1945: The Cassino Memorial, Introduction to the Register"; "Canada's Veteran War Horses," 1933; "The Burns Society of the City of New York," Jan 1902.

Series consists of a collection of family letters, mostly written to Mrs. George Wilson (nee Sarah Howell), 1817-1927. Other names mentioned, either as sender or receiver, include: Port Hope Evening Guide, Government of Canada, Susan Websters, Hannah Straw (Sarah's sister), George Wilson (Sarah's husband), Sarah Burnham, Mary Howell (Sarah's sister), Elizabeth Howell (Sarah's mother), and Henry Howell. There are also a few financial records (i.e. receipts) in the collection.

File consists of correspondence written regarding funds for hospital and special rates on operations for children under the care of the Northumberland & Durham Children's Aid Society, 1919.

File is a scrapbook documenting Port Hope Hospital coverage in the media, 1958-1962.

Series consists of obituaries and other clippings of the Gladman - Stuart - Stuart family, 1887-1907. It includes: Obituary for Mrs. John Grant, mother of Albert Grant, 1887; Marriage announcement of Josie Stuart and Albert Grant, 1896; Death notice of Margaret Gladman Stuart, wife of Charles Stuart, 1901; Obituary for Charles Stuart, 1907; and real estate advertisement for Ballintruan. No date.

File consists of correspondence written between members of the Stuart-Grant family of Ballintruan, c1894-1901. It includes personal messages from Albert and Josephine Grant (nee Stuart) and her parents, Charles and Margaret Stuart (nee Gladman). The letters document the travels of Albert and Josephine to Italy, France, England, Scotland, Germany and New York; and updates on their children from Charles and Margaret at Ballintruan in Port Hope. It also includes correspondence on letter head from the residence of Kaiser Wilhelm II, Balmoral Castle, Hearth & Home Magazine, Eden-Palace Hotel (France), Hotel Angst (Italy), Stuart Family (Ballintruan), Murray Hill Hotel (New York), Hotel Continental (France), Hotel Bella Vista (Italy), Hotel de France et Pension Anglaise (Italy), Palace Hotel (Scotland), Hotel Victoria (London); as well as, a Christmas card "Woodlands and Pastures Bare," "The Complexion: It's Care." by Mrs. Pomeroy (addressed to Mrs. Stuart Grant), Telegram and information booklet for Saloon Passengers per Dominion Line Royal Mail S.S. "Vancouver," 1897 (Josephine Stuart-Grant and Victoria were on board), and several other birthday and holiday cards.

Item is a poster originally pasted on the back the handwritten words of what the poster was to read in regards to the stolen animal. The poster was commissioned by William Berry, 3rd Concession of Hope Township. Comments on poster indicate that 50 were printed and the cost was $1.50. This piece is believed to be a printer's proof.
