Biographical history

Jacqueline Collin Poliquin was born and raised in Hearst. Like many young women of her generation, she was hired as a nurse’s aide at Saint-Paul’s Hospital in Hearst, in 1953. She then completed the nursing assistant course offered by the Chicago School of Nursing. In 1958, she married Guy Poliquin and left the job market to devote herself to her family. She has four children: Michel, Lyne, Marcel and Eric.
