    This collection consists of textual documents relating to the Great Northern Ontario Clay Belt, an area that stretches from Longlac to Iroquois Falls and the Timmins region. It includes all the subjects that are relevant to this geographical area. The collection encompasses books published by local authors and publishers, books referring to the region, including historical novels, monographs and research documents: memoirs, theses and reports. Manuscripts written by individuals and by community organizations such as briefs, official publications (government studies, institutional reports, etc.) and reference documents such as directories, bibliographies and genealogical books are also part of the collection.
