Fonds consists of photographs and textual records accumulated by Gordon Francis Hoffos during the course of his aviation career, but primarily covering the early years, from 1942 to 1959. The fonds is comprised of five files: GFH-001 Canadian Forces records; GFH-002 Clippings and ephemera; GFH-003 Correspondence; GFH-004 Loose photographs; and GFH-005 Photograph album.

James Henry Taylor fonds

The fonds consists of Taylor’s RCAF log book, a colour photographic portrait, and two copied documents. The documents are a 1953 Canadian Armed Forces Record of Service form and a chronology for Taylor’s RCAF service created with information from the log book.

The fonds contains graphic and textual records related to J.J. Sebisty’s Second World War service. This includes three photograph albums, a log book, an air route book, a photo portrait, a discharge certificate, and a file of documents related to the investigation into Sebisty’s 1944 crash. It also includes the following artefacts: 3 service pins, RAF 110 squadron badge, and a heliograph. The records are arranged in rough chronological order.

John Arnold fonds

The fonds includes Arnold’s records as design consultant and artistic advisor for the project to build the RCAF Memorial Hall of Tribute at the National Aviation Museum (now the Canada Aviation and Space Museum). Records include proposals by artists and architects, a draft of Arnold’s report to the RCAF Memorial Fund, technical drawings, photographs, notes on meetings and other matters, and correspondence with the different actors involved in the project. The fonds is arranged mostly in the order it was received, as reflected by the annotated preliminary inventory that was added at the end of the original files. The archivist grouped some correspondence together by the name of the correspondent, as indicated in the annotations on the inventory.

Roger Beebe fonds

Fonds consists of 102 colour slides taken between 1964-1968 of NATO aircraft and the airbases where RCAF 1 Wing was stationed in Marville, France, and Lahr, Germany. Fonds also consists of 7 crests owned by Roger Beebe during the course of his RCAF career. Slides and crests are arranged in a numeric order established in the initial inventory.
