Administrative history
Avon-Putnam Pastoral Charge was formed ca. 1968 with the merger of Avon and Putnam Pastoral Charges. It originally included Avon, Banner, Crampton, Harrietsfield (only for 1968), and Mossley (later named Putnam). It would then become a two-point charge when Avon-Crampton and Putnam amalgamated to form Reynolds Creek United Church in Putnam. It is still an active charge of the United Church of Canada.
