          Fonds illustrates Ella N. Martin’s work as a senior lecturer at the Royal Ontario Museum and her interest in improving museum education. The fonds is arranged into twelve series, which span her entire career from the late 1930s to the mid 1970s. The fonds includes correspondence, publications, photographs, personal papers and journals, lecture notes, drafts of a book, student reports, course instructions, teacher evaluation forms, interpretative text, film and radio scripts, worksheets for children and other materials. The fonds also contains an accession record.

          The fonds consists of textual records and other material created and accumulated by Eloise A. Skimings during her career as a newspaper correspondent, teacher, poet, and composer in Goderich, Ontario.

          The fonds includes business and personal correspondence, business and personal invoices and receipts related to Eloise Skimings professional and personal activities, family account books of her and her brothers, insurance records, bank records, music records, poetry, notebooks, scrapbook, tickets, invitations, announcements, cards of memoriam, newspaper clippings and articles, photographs, postcard, a drawing, and published poetry books. Some of the records relate to her brothers, Richard Skimings and William Skimings, as well as A.M. Polley, Mrs. Flora A. Polley, and S.B. Williams.

          The fonds consists of a series of letters between Enid Rutland and Margaret Laurence (1970-1983), dealing in the main with the production of 'The collected plays of Gwen Pharis Ringwood,' (1982), but containing some personal notes as well.

          The Entertainment Department fonds, RG 10, is arranged and described at the series level, with an accompanying file list. The fonds consists of a single series: Subject Files (RG 10-0-1).

          Textual records in the fonds consist of correspondence, reports, contracts, schedules, minutes, charts and policies related to the Entertainment Department staff, musicians, performers and other entertainers, competition contestants, and CNE visitors. Graphic and printed materials include photographs of dancers, parades and parade floats, costumed characters, music and dance competitions, and other events coordinated by the Entertainment Department, as well as pamphlets and brochures.

          Few documents exist for the years 1952-1980 (for further records from this time period, see RG 10-2, Music Department fonds). No records exist for the year 1984. When the CNE became independent in 2013, they retained their administrative and operational records from that year. Those records, and any new records created after that date, are the property of the CNE and are stored in the CNE offices or the CNE Archives. As a result, only one further accrual is expected for RG 10 for the records created between 2000 and 2012, which still fall under the retention schedule as of 2018.

          Item is a framed print from the Douglas R. Greer Collection entitled: "Fan-wing Mayflies," 1996. Includes the following caption: "There are more than 700 living species of North American Mayflies, but only several dozen have been copied extensively by fly-tyers, and the Fan-wing patterns were largely abandoned in the late 1800s. Though some fly-tyers would disagree, the ADAMS pattern probably began as a Mayfly, and is now North America's most popular dry fly for Trout. Mayflies are common in the mid-Atlantic Ocean."

          The records of the Florence Isabella Craig fonds attest to her career as journalist, editor, and author. Moreover, they document the period of WWII and of the contributions of women in the labour force.

          Many of the research notes and typed articles are scripts or background information for Clare Wallace’s radio programs and cover various subjects such as weather phenomenon, birth control, history of well-known Canadian families, medical issues, fashion, mine sites, and even finger prints and ‘Black Magic.’

          The scrapbooks contain clippings of articles written by Craig for the Toronto Star, the Sudbury Star, and Fore Sight, but also publicity images mostly depicting the role of women in the labour force during WWII.

          The fonds also includes research notes, drafts, and different proofs of the book Craig wrote with Clare Wallace, as well as for other books she worked on. There are also notebooks with her poetry.

          Le fonds d’archives témoigne des activités de création et des réalisations d’André Paiement dans le domaine des arts et de la culture. Les documents illustrent aussi l’impact que ses réalisations ont eu sur la communauté franco-ontarienne et la communauté francophone du Canada. De plus, ce fonds d'archives documente les groupes au sein duquel Paiement a œuvré. Ainsi on y retrouve des documents de La Troupe de l'université Laurentienne, du Théâtre du Nouvel Ontario ainsi que du groupe de musique CANO.

          En effet, les dossiers documentent les créations littéraires d’André Paiement au sein de La Troupe de l’université Laurentienne et du Théâtre du Nouvel Ontario (TNO). De plus, les annotations des manuscrits des pièces de théâtre ainsi que les photographies documentent les différents rôles joués par Paiement, l’acteur. Les dossiers de presse témoignent du rayonnement d’André Paiement et des groupes avec lesquels il a œuvré (TNO et CANO-musique). On y retrouve entre autres, des photographies, programmes de pièces de théâtre, coupures de presse, mais aussi des notes manuscrites et textes du groupe CANO-musique. Les documents personnels tel que la correspondance, permettent une incursion dans la vie privée d'André Paiement. En effet la correspondance offre une autre perspective sur le cheminement d'André Paiement dans le monde de la création et favorise un aperçu d'André Paiement, l'homme privé.

Le fonds contient aussi des documents concernant les dons reçus et une liste des donateurs.

          The drawings were made during family counselling sessions held by Françoise Roy in late 1970s, early 1980s. She also taught special education at CEGEP La Pocatière in Quebec. She gifted them to Léo Beaulieu in 2003. Léo was one of her college students around the time these drawings were made.

          Le fonds de la Galerie du Nouvel-Ontario (GNO) témoigne des principales activités artistiques, de la gestion et de l’évolution de l’organisme, dix ans après sa fondation jusqu’aux premiers balbutiements du projet d’autonomie de la galerie.

          Le fonds regroupe des documents qui nous renseignent sur la programmation de la galerie, les artistes et leurs créations. On retrouve entre autre des programmes, des cartons d’invitations pour des expositions et des listes d’envoi. Sont aussi inclus des curriculum vitae d’artistes ainsi que leurs dossiers de soumissions d’expositions, des contrats d’expositions entre la galerie et les artistes, des listes d’oeuvres et des photographies.

          On retrouve aussi plusieurs documents afférents à l’administration ainsi qu’à la gestion financière de la GNO. Notons les procès-verbaux, budgets, demandes de subventions au Conseil des Arts de l’Ontario, correspondances, formulaires de vente d’œuvres d’art, factures, bons de commande, et des communications telles que : communiqués de presse, mémos et notes de service. De plus, ce fonds contient de la documentation qui témoigne des responsabilités de la GNO au sein du Carrefour francophone et du Centre des Jeunes. Un document concernant le projet d’auto-gestion de la galerie fait aussi partie des dossiers.

          Le fonds d’archives contient également certains documents qui nous informent sur la situation des artistes et des organismes culturels francophones aux niveaux local et provincial. À ce titre, on retrouve de la documentation générale sur l’art et le développement culturel franco-ontarien ainsi que des dossiers de collaboration entre la GNO et d’autres centres d’arts visuels. De plus, le fonds contient un plan d’affaires pour le projet de Centre artistique francophone à Sudbury.

          Les documents de ce fonds d'archives témoignent des réalisations, des activités et intérêts de Jocelyne Villeneuve. Ses cahiers de presse, en plus de documenter sa carrière d'écrivaine, témoignent de la reconnaissance qu'elle a eue auprès du public, mais aussi des liens qu'elle avait créés avec le milieu littéraire. Ainsi, les nombreuses lettres et poèmes reçus ou encore dédiés à Jocelyne Villeneuve en sont une preuve. Il y a aussi plusieurs coupures de presse, communiqués de presse, lettres et autres informations sur la maison d'Éditions Prise de parole. Son implication dans le milieu nous est révélée par le cahier "compilation" dans lequel on retrouve des dessins et lettres d'étudiants d'une école primaire où elle donnait des ateliers sur l'écriture. Le fonds d’archives contient aussi les versions des différents écrits de Villeneuve, sa correspondance avec les maisons d’édition, avec des écrivains avec qui elle a développé des liens d’amitié. De nombreuses fiches de recherche et de la documentation sur des thèmes précis documentent la recherche faite par l’auteure pour l’écriture de ses récits et autres textes. Mentionnons aussi que certains dossiers abordent plus spécifiquement les problèmes de santé de Madame Villeneuve.
