The fonds consists of a notebook containing records of donations of biological specimens to the University of Toronto Museum (Biological Museum?). Mentions of J. H. Fleming, Oliver Spanner (just his letterhead), the New Museum (ROM). The notebook is extremely fragile; the papers are crumbling.
It is not clear when the notebook was acquired by the ROM nor when it was transferred to the ROM Archives. At some point the notebook was incorporated into SC76 Early Naturalists, but was misfiled and was never added to the finding aid. The notebook was found misfiled with RG 76 Textiles Department and re-described as a separate fonds in April 2017.
