        General note

        This photographic negative is a copy created in August 1941 of another Sudbury Star photographic negative originally created in February 1939. The copy was subsequently filed by the Sudbury Star with all the other images of school buildings in Sudbury used in an article dated August 28, 1941.

        General note

        Central Public School (1906-1950) was located beside Memorial Park (originally called Central Park, prior to completion) and was replaced by the Sudbury Arena in 1950 (opened November 1951).
