One image of a fire at the Sudbury Construction & Machinery Company Limited at 139-149 Lorne Street in Sudbury, Ontario, where smoke and flames can be seen consuming the roof. A car with a loudspeaker on the roof and a 'Chief' decal on the drivers side door is parked to the side of the building where two firefighters can be seen.

The fire at the Sudbury Construction & Machinery Company Limited caused over $50,000 in damage and one firefighter was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Sudbury, Ontario after being struck on the head by a piece of falling timber.
