General note
The Sudbury Star often spelt Lake Ramsey, or Ramsey Lake, as Lake Ramsay during the 1940's.
General note
"Strongly built on the heavy creosoted timbers which were originally secured for the Sudbury Canoe Club, the building promises to be a most attractive home for boating enthusiasts on Lake Ramsay, and an attractive addition to Bell Park... [It] should prove a boon to the Sudbury Canoe Club, and every indication is that this organization will take on a new lease of life." Sudbury Star, May 30, 1942, p. 14.
General note
See "Work Progressing Rapidly on New Boathouse," Sudbury Star, May 30, 1942, p. 14.
