One image of prospectors and government geologists at a dinner at the Nickel Range Hotel hosted by the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce. Included in the image, from left to right, are: J.R. Gordon, a guest speaker for the evening from Copper Cliff, Ontario; George A. MacMillan, president of the Ontario Prospectors and Developers Association; G.A. Foot, president of the Sudbury Chamber of Commerce; E.A. Collins, Inco Vice-President, and a speaker for the evening who presented a slide show about the development of the nickel industry; Dr. M.E. Hurst, a member of the geological survey branch in Ottawa, Ontario and Russel Cryderman, a previous president of the Ontario Prospectors and Developers Association.
