        General note

William Winters and James Winters were sent from Scotland to Canada to stay for the duration of World War II. They went to the station in order to talk to their parents in Glasgow, Scotland on the radio but were interviewed instead when it was determined that it was impossible to pick up the broadcast in Scotland on that day. The children stayed while in Canada with Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Morgan in Falconbridge, Ontario.
