Dr. W. Guy Mahaffy and Marion Mahaffy (Marion Plaunt) were married at eight o'clock p.m. on December 2nd, 1939 at Knox Presbyterian Church in Sudbury, Ontario.
Mrs. Mahaffy was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Plaunt. Dr. Mahaffy was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mahaffy of Parry Sound, Ontario.
Marion Plaunt Mahaffy's veil with a square cut train was made of alencon lace and was a copy of a museum piece from Cluny, France.
