Administrative history
No. 102 Marine Squadron was formed in 1943 by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), under Eastern Air Command, to man and operate supply vessels of the Marine section at RCAF Station Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. At its peak, the Squadron had a strength of over 300 personnel and more than 70 vessels. The Squadron disbanded in November of 1951.
